Children at the Gstaad Palace

We are proud to offer our little guests a new children's program each year. The programme is specially prepared for our treasured young ones, and the activities are intended for children between the age of 5 and 12 years. Children between 3 and 5 years may participate, but a responsible guardian must accompany them.

From this winter, the Gstaad Palace welcomes a "baby-sitter" during certain periods who will take care of our young hotels and/or external guests. A Children program which will change every week will also guarantee leisure and pleasure for our young ones. The Gstaad Palace also has a playroom and an outdoor playground, which are at the children's disposal.

The destination of Gstaad has children at its heart. Children up to the age of nine do not pay for any of the cable cars belonging to the Gstaad Mountain Rides.

Apart from our weekly children's program there is a lot to discover - here some examples:
Summer Toboganging - Either on the Glacier 3000 or on the Rellerli high above Gstaad.
Petting Zoo - Petting and feeding animals at the "Stiftung Alpenruhe" or at the Berghaus Wispile.
Playgrounds - Every village has its own playground.
Ice Skating - Ice is fascinating! There are ice rinks in Gstaad, Saanenmöser and Schönried.
Sledging - Eight different sled runs are available.
Mountain Railways - Children under 9 years are entiled to travel for free.
Ski Schools & Learning Parks - Safe ski slopes and learning parks for children and beginners.
Igloo Hotel - at approx. 1900m altitude you can enjoy the world of the Inuit's.
