Playing Golf on one of the most beautiful 18-hole Golf courses in the Alps
Playing Golf in Switzerland is not only a sport, but also enjoying the nature. Switzerland actually has 91 Golf courses. About 70 percent are 18-holes and 30 percent are 9-holes. From the topographical and climatical standpoint they are all very different.
The Golf course Gstaad-Saanenland (1400 m ü. M.) was built in 1960/61. It is located in the middle of a beautiful alpine landscape of the Bernese Oberland, away from traffic and noise in a protected area and a flat moor of national importance. The course has been carefully integrated in the countryside and offers you lots of sun and a mild climate.
When hungry, you can enjoy the specialties in the club house, prepared by the top chef Robert Speth from the restaurant Chesery in Gstaad. Enjoy the sporty and familiar atmosphere spread out by the club members with lots of style and class.
The outstanding and unique Driving-Range (45 Knock offs, partially under roof), Putting- and Pitching-Green as well as the training local are public and accessible for every interested person. The Golf club offers a large supply during the hole season for new comers, Beginners and Handicap players. Also for non members.
The course is playable from May 13 to October 31. Guests are always welcome. Valid member card and Handicap 36 are necessary. Independent golfers such as ASGI, VCG, League Française and others pay one and a half times the Green fee.
You reach the Golf course in Saanenmöser from Gstaad in about 15 minutes.
